SpaceSplit Community Guidelines

SpaceSplit homes are designed to provide safe, respectful, and well-maintained shared living environments. All residents are expected to follow these Community Guidelines to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

1. Cleanliness & House Care

Residents are responsible for keeping shared spaces clean and orderly after each use, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and laundry rooms.

Dishes must be washed and put away promptly; food should not be left out overnight.

Trash must be bagged and disposed of in designated bins. Overflowing trash is not permitted.

Personal belongings must remain in assigned bedrooms or designated storage areas.

Residents are expected to follow posted cleaning schedules or instructions provided by management.

2. Noise & Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, unless otherwise posted.

Noise levels should remain reasonable at all times, including music, phone calls, gaming, and television.

Headphones are recommended for personal entertainment in shared areas.

Disruptive behavior or repeated noise complaints may result in corrective action.

3. Guests & Visitors

Guests must be pre-approved and comply with all house rules while on the property.

Overnight guests are limited and may require written authorization.

Residents are responsible for the conduct, cleanliness, and behavior of their guests.

Guests may not access other residents' bedrooms or private storage areas.

Large gatherings or parties are not permitted without prior approval.

4. Shared Spaces & Amenities

Shared spaces are for communal use, not exclusive occupancy.

Residents must respect time limits, posted rules, and other residents' access.

Furniture, appliances, and house items may not be moved, altered, or removed.

Damage to shared property must be reported immediately to management.

Food storage must be clearly labeled when required and stored only in assigned areas.

5. Respectful Conduct

Residents must treat all housemates, neighbors, and staff with respect.

Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.

Smoking, vaping, illegal substances, or unsafe activities are prohibited unless expressly permitted in designated areas.

6. Compliance & Accountability

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in warnings, fees, loss of privileges, or termination of residency.
