What to Bring (Personal Essentials)

SpaceSplit homes typically come fully furnished in shared spaces, and bedroom furnishing may vary. Tenants should plan to bring:

Bedroom Items

• Bedding and MATTRESS COVER(sheets, pillows, blanket/comforter)
• Towels and personal toiletries
• Laundry basket or bag
• Personal décor (kept minimal and removable) Command Strips allowed.

Daily Living

• Clothing and shoes. Shoe rack as closet space allows.
• Personal hygiene products
• Laptop, phone chargers, alarm clock
• Headphones

Kitchen & Food Items

To maintain fairness and cleanliness in shared kitchens:

• Clearly labeled food items
• Personal reusable water bottle or coffee mug
• Optional small storage bin for pantry or fridge space

Note: Only designated cabinet and refrigerator space may be used.

What NOT to Bring

For safety, space, and community harmony, the following are typically prohibited:

• Large furniture (sofas, dressers, extra beds)
• Space heaters, personal refrigerators, hot plates, or unauthorized appliances
• Candles or open-flame items
• Weapons, illegal substances, or hazardous materials
• Pets (unless explicitly approved in writing)

On move-in day, tenants should expect:

• Wi-Fi login instructions provided
• Smart-lock or key access issued
• Room assignment walkthrough
• Explanation of shared systems (thermostat, laundry, trash days)
